Set in a clearing of the picnic park adjacent to the Quinta das Lameiras urban garden, the installation is inspired by the Cape Verdean concept of Morabeza — a way of life rooted in warmth, hospitality, and a strong sense of community.
Among the trees rises a five-metre wooden cube that structures the space and invites the neighbourhood to take ownership of it. Inside, a suspended skin displays repurposed construction materials, inviting for a moment of pause and a unique sensory experience.
